π§ͺ About the Program
The School of International Biodesign (SIB) is a flagship collaboration between AIIMS New Delhi, IIT Delhi, and the Government of India, dedicated to developing next-generation medical devices.
This internship focuses on leveraging robotics, mechatronics, and AI to transform cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, including advanced hair-transplant technologies.
Interns will work in a highly interdisciplinary environment, directly contributing to end-to-end medical device development.
π― Role: Mechatronics / Robotics Intern
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechatronic systems for medical devices
- Program microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems
- Create 3D CAD models (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) for analysis and communication
- Collaborate with domain experts across engineering & clinical teams
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards
π Required Qualifications
- B.Tech / M.Tech in:
- Mechatronics
- Robotics
- Mechanical Engineering (with relevant skills)
π οΈ Hands-on Skills (Required / Preferred)
- Robotics, control systems, actuators, sensors
- CAD software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD
- PLC programming & embedded systems
- Familiarity with AI / machine vision (preferred)
