The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi invites applications for its Summer Research Fellowship Programme (SRFP) 2026, offering an opportunity for top-performing students to work on innovative research projects under IIT Delhi faculty.
🔬 About the Program

⏳ Duration
- 8 weeks (May–July 2026)
🎯 Eligibility
- Undergraduate students (non-IIT Delhi) with at least 2 years completed
- M.Tech/M.E. students (non-IIT Delhi) with at least 1 semester completed
- Must be among the top 10 rank holders in their program/branch
- Minimum 70% marks or CGPA 7.0+ (for PG students)
💰 Fellowship & Benefits
- ₹2,000 per week stipend
- Travel support (Sleeper class train fare within India)
- Accommodation & boarding at IIT Delhi
📅 Important Dates
- Application Deadline: 3 April 2026 (5:00 PM)
- Fellowship Period: 13 May – 13 July 2026
- Selection Results: First week of May 2026
