The Hospital del Mar Research Institute is now hiring for three exciting research positions in the Cancer Cell States & Metastasis Immunity Lab, part of the ERC-funded PLASTWIRE Project focused on understanding and reprogramming immune-evasive cancer cell states.
🔬 Available Positions
1️⃣ PhD Position – Breast Cancer mRNA Therapy with Lipid Nanoparticles
- Research on breast cancer metastasis and tumor immunology.
- Develop lipid nanoparticle-based mRNA therapies.
- Work in nanomedicine and molecular & cellular biology.
2️⃣ Postdoctoral Researcher – Metastasis & Immune-Evasive Tumor Cell States
- Lead research using single-cell omics and high-throughput technologies.
- Conduct in vivo cancer research.
- Investigate immune-evasive tumor cell states and metastasis.
3️⃣ Research Technician – Cancer Metastasis & Immunity Lab
- Support tumor biology and metastasis research.
- Perform advanced microscopy and image processing.
- Assist with animal handling and laboratory experiments.
🎓 You’re a Good Fit If
- You have a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or Nanomedicine (for PhD applicants).
- You hold a PhD in Life Sciences with expertise in single-cell omics or in vivo models (for Postdoctoral applicants).
- You have laboratory experience in tumor biology, microscopy, imaging, or animal models (for Research Technician applicants).
- You are passionate about cancer research and translational biomedical science.
