🧬 About the Lab
The Neurocircuit Lab at Azim Premji University studies how neural circuits regulate behavior using Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism.
Current projects involve:
- CRISPR-based epilepsy mutant models
- Sleep and neural circuit regulation
No prior experience with Drosophila is required — training will be provided.

🧪 What You’ll Do
- Work on Drosophila-based neuroscience experiments
- Assist with CRISPR mutant generation and behavioral assays
- Participate in lab discussions and data analysis
- Work closely with Principal Investigator Dr. Antara Das
