Job Summary:
We’re expanding our Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services across Europe and are looking for a Business Development Manager (CDMO Services – Europe) to drive commercial growth. This role focuses on acquiring new CGT-focused clients, building long-term partnerships, and closing strategic manufacturing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage new customers for Miltenyi Bioindustry’s CDMO services (viral vector and cell therapy manufacturing).
- Lead project acquisition, proposal development, and contract negotiations with biopharma clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for CDMO projects before contract execution.
- Collaborate closely with Global Business Development and CDMO Account Management teams.
- Drive cross-selling opportunities in coordination with Miltenyi Biotec’s Key Account and Product Sales teams.
- Represent Miltenyi Bioindustry at biotech conferences, partnering meetings, and industry forums across Europe.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Alliance Management within Biotech, Pharma, or CDMO sectors.
- Proven deal-making, contract negotiation, and project management expertise.
- Strong understanding of Cell & Gene Therapy development processes, including regulatory and GMP manufacturing requirements.
- Excellent communication, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Entrepreneurial and target-driven mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth.
