Position: Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical)

Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, is inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens for two positions of Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) under the ICMR–National One Health Mission funded multi-institutional project titled “Establishing a metagenomic NGS surveillance model utilizing a syndromic approach in India” led by Dr. Rajesh Chandramohanadas (BRIC–RGCB).
Essential Qualifications
Option 1:
First Class Postgraduate Degree with PhD in Life Sciences, Biology, Genomics, Genetics, Bioinformatics or related fields
Option 2:
Second Class Postgraduate Degree with PhD and three years of experience in Life Sciences, Biology, Genomics, Genetics, Bioinformatics or related areas
Age Limit
Below 35 years as on 18 December 2025. Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India norms.
