PhD Position Available—Medical Data Sciences Laboratory
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join the Medical Data Sciences Laboratory at the Department of Data Sciences. Centre of BioMedical Research, SGPGIMS, Lucknow.
Our lab is dedicated to advancing healthcare through the power of computational sciences, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML).
Our research aims to alleviate the burden on healthcare systems by developing innovative computational approaches for predicting diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic biomarkers. We focus on AI-driven analysis of OMICS data—including genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics—to identify clinically relevant biomarkers and translate these findings into robust prediction tools and software solutions.
Key research areas include:
AI and ML-based biomarker discovery for patient stratification and personalized medicine
Multi-OMICS data integration for mechanistic insights into disease progression
Development of computational tools for clinical decision support
AI-powered drug repurposing and drug discovery for accelerating therapeutic interventions
