Galentic Pharma (I) Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an experienced Microbiologist to join its Quality Control team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, ensuring microbiological quality, regulatory compliance, and contamination control while supporting sterile product manufacturing.
🔬 What You’ll Work On
- Perform sterility assurance testing using membrane filtration and direct inoculation methods.
- Conduct bioburden testing of raw materials, APIs, and in-process samples.
- Perform Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET) using the LAL method.
- Monitor Purified Water (PW) and Water for Injection (WFI) systems for microbial quality.
- Carry out Environmental Monitoring (EM) of cleanrooms, including air, surface, and personnel sampling.
- Support aseptic process simulation (Media Fill) studies and contamination control.
- Validate sterilization processes and disinfectant efficacy.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, US FDA, EMA, WHO, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in audit preparation, CAPA investigations, and quality improvement activities.
🎓 You’re a Good Fit If
- You hold an M.Sc. in Microbiology.
- You have 3–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical microbiology.
- You have hands-on experience in sterility testing, BET, environmental monitoring, and water system monitoring.
- You possess a strong understanding of cleanroom operations, contamination control, and cGMP requirements.
- You have excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
