π¬ About the Research
The Sheltzer Lab at Stanford University is hiring research assistants/technicians for multiple projects focused on cancer genomics and therapeutics.
The lab studies aneuploidy in cancer, a condition where cancer cells gain or lose entire chromosomes. Using CRISPR-based chromosome engineering, the lab investigates how aneuploidy drives tumor growth and uncovers genetic vulnerabilities that can be targeted for therapy.

This role is ideal for recent graduates planning to apply to PhD or MD programs, but applicants from diverse backgrounds will also be considered.
π Position Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field
- OR Masterβs degree in a relevant scientific discipline
- 2+ years of research experience in a molecular biology lab (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and data analysis skills
