πΏ Postdoctoral & PhD Positions β Plant Stress Signaling | Louisiana State University
Lab: Wang Lab
Department: Biological Sciences
Institution: Louisiana State University
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA
Start Date: Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 / Fall 2027
The Wang Lab at Louisiana State University is recruiting one Postdoctoral Researcher and two PhD students to join a new research group studying plant stress responses and signaling networks.
The lab aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms of plant growth regulation and stress adaptation, focusing on kinase signaling, autophagy, and stress granules in plant systems.
π¬ Research Focus
The group integrates multiple approaches to understand plant cellular signaling and stress adaptation:
- Molecular biology and genetics
- Biochemistry and cell biology
- Advanced imaging techniques
- Multi-omics approaches
The long-term goal is to understand regulatory networks that help plants adapt to environmental stress and improve crop resilience.
