The Indian Council of Medical Research – National Institute for Research in Digital Health (ICMR-NIRDH) is inviting applications from motivated students and recent graduates for an exciting internship opportunity. The selected interns will join the AI Oral Bioimpedance Project, working at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and social development.
🔬 Project Scope & Focus Areas: the internship involves key components of public health and field research, including:
👥 Field Engagement & Qualitative Research
- Conducting qualitative research within community settings
- Engaging directly in field interactions and social data collection
- Contributing to social development work related to digital health initiatives
📝 Documentation & Analysis
- Systematic documentation of field observations and project metrics
- Supporting the evaluation of AI bioimpedance applications in real-world contexts
🎓 Eligibility Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in:
- Anthropology
- Sociology
- Social Work (MSW)
- Other related social science disciplines
Preferred Traits
- A strong, demonstrated interest in qualitative research and field engagement
- Proficiency or interest in project documentation and community-level social work
