CSIR–Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR-IITR) is inviting applications for a Project Assistant position under an ANRF-funded research project focused on understanding the multi-omics mechanisms of gut–liver axis disruption induced by non-caloric sweeteners using NAFLD/T2DM mouse models and human 3D liver models. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in translational biomedical research and metabolic diseases.
🔬 What You’ll Work On
Multi-Omics Research
Investigate molecular mechanisms involved in gut–liver axis disruption using advanced multi-omics approaches.
Animal Model Studies
Perform in vivo experiments using NAFLD/T2DM mouse models to study metabolic liver diseases.
Cell Culture & Molecular Biology
Conduct in vitro cell culture experiments and molecular biology techniques to understand disease mechanisms.
Translational Liver Disease Research
Contribute to research aimed at improving knowledge of metabolic disorders and human liver health.
Collaborative Research
Work as part of an interdisciplinary ANRF-funded research team at CSIR-IITR.
🎯 You’re a Good Fit If
You hold an M.V.Sc., M.Sc., M.Pharm., or an equivalent qualification in Life Sciences.
You have hands-on experience in animal experimentation, cell culture, or molecular biology.
You are passionate about biomedical research, toxicology, metabolic diseases, and translational science.
Candidates with relevant laboratory research experience will be preferred.
