The Lab of Chromatin Biology and Epigenetics at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-I under a DBT-funded research project. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated life sciences graduates interested in chromatin biology, molecular biology, and epigenetics research. The selected candidate is expected to join immediately.
🔬 What You’ll Work On
Chromatin Biology & Epigenetics Research
Participate in research focused on chromatin biology, epigenetic regulation, and gene expression mechanisms.
Molecular Biology Experiments
Perform molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA-based experiments and laboratory protocols supporting the research project.
Real-Time PCR & ChIP
Carry out Real-Time PCR (qPCR), Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP), and other molecular assays for experimental analysis.
Microbiology Research
Support microbiology-related laboratory experiments and sample processing as part of the research activities.
Scientific Documentation
Maintain accurate laboratory records, analyze experimental data, and assist in preparing research reports and project documentation.
🎯 Ideal Candidates
You hold an M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized institution.
You possess a valid GATE score or NET-LS qualification.
Hands-on experience in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Real-Time PCR, and Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) is highly desirable.
You are enthusiastic about laboratory research and available to join immediately.
