The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is now hiring for a Research Internship focused on Signal Processing & Neuroimaging. The core focus will be the analysis of MRI / MEG data, specifically looking at source localisation and brain connectivity for epilepsy and consciousness research.
🔬 What You’ll Work On
- Source localisation from MEG/MRI — including forward/inverse modeling, beamforming, and MNE/dSPM.
- Functional & effective connectivity analysis.
- Developing signal-processing pipelines for epileptiform activity & altered states of consciousness.
- Utilizing tools such as MNE-Python, FieldTrip or comparable frameworks.
🎓 You’re a Good Fit If
- You have a background in signal processing, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, physics, or a related field.
- You possess programming experience, specifically in Python or MATLAB.
- You have familiarity with neuroimaging or EEG/MEG/MRI data (this is considered a plus, but not mandatory).
- You have a curiosity about the brain & a willingness to learn.
